As a dynamic science, the development of medicine and its learning process never stops, both in terms of science and technology.
The same is true in the field of hip and knee surgery. The development of technology and information occurs very rapidly. The Indonesian Pelvic and Knee Surgeons are fully aware of the obligation to participate in responding to developments in the health sector. So in order to fulfill this obligation, continuous efforts are needed to improve scientific understanding, professionalism, and service at the highest level by adhering to the doctor's oath and the Indonesian medical code of ethics, for which integrated cooperation is needed based on the spirit of association and unity among Pelvic and Knee Surgeons.
To realize these aims and objectives, we Indonesian Orthopaedic and trauma surgeons with specialization in pelvic and knee surgery have declared the establishment of the Indonesian Pelvic and Knee Surgery Association on March 25, 2007 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
